EXPLORING DENSITY AND STREETLIFE in the small town of Elnesvågen, we discover a big potensial in combining a denser center structure with crosssing a problematic road and moving the center towards the fjord.

We look at how a mixture of functions and combining the interests of different developers can result in structures that benefit the public.

We also show how a new mindset in housing development can give 450 new housing units in walking distance to the center, only using low rise developmant that corresponds with the historical scale of Elnesvågen.
