POWER: Force of Nature

HYDRO POWER STATION, NORWAY

BUILDING POWER STATIONS used to be a national concern and a matter of nation-building. Large industrial cathedrals were constructed to house water turbines, and whole societies were established near natural sources of power like waterfalls.

Today we see the emergence of a very different structure, where little nodes in a large network exploit natural sources that used to be unexploitable.

We now attack these interesting issues in our design for a power station in rural Norway.
